How to get help

Logic Pro provides several ways for you to get answers to questions, learn about controls and functions while you're working, and view detailed information about all aspects of the application. You can also view information directly in the application using the Quick Help feature.

In addition to being available from the Logic Pro Help menu, the full suite of help documents is available online in both HTML and ePub formats.

Quick Help

You can view a brief description of windows, controls, and other elements of the Logic Pro interface without leaving the application or interrupting your workflow. You can view Quick Help either next to the pointer or in a movable floating window.

Logic Pro Help

Describes the Logic Pro interface, commands, and menus and gives step-by-step instructions for creating Logic Pro projects and for accomplishing specific tasks.

The Logic Pro Instruments and Logic Pro Effects manuals are now integrated into Logic Pro Help online.

Provides comprehensive instructions for using the powerful collection of instruments included with Logic Pro.

Logic Pro Effects

Provides comprehensive instructions for using the powerful collection of effects included with Logic Pro.

Logic Pro Control Surfaces Support

Provides comprehensive instructions for configuring and using control surfaces with Logic Pro.

Logic Remote

For iPad users, a separate application is available that lets you view detailed Help information on your iPad while you work in Logic Pro. The Logic Remote app is available on the App Store, and can be downloaded directly from within Logic Pro by choosing Logic Pro > Download Logic Remote.

Using the Smart Help feature in Logic Remote, you can view detailed Help information about the Logic Pro interface, commands, and menus, including step-by-step instructions for using Logic Pro on your Mac while you are working, simply by placing the pointer over different parts of the interface.
